Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle at Broadway and 85th Street
Los Angeles, CA (August 21, 2022) – A pedestrian died following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred in the area of Broadway and 85th Street.
According to My News LA, a vehicle struck an individual at the busy intersection in the South Los Angeles. Earlier reports indicated the catastrophic incident took place Tuesday at bout 9:35 p.m.
Emergency crews responded to the accident scene and found a male party suffering in injuries. Medical personnel performed life-saving measures to the victim but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. Authorities only identified the deceased as a man in his 40s.
The article published online mentioned the driver involved in the deadly crash fled the scene. Preliminary investigation revealed the hit-and-run suspect was behind the wheel of a dark-colored car and sped away heading north on Broadway.
Further investigation is ongoing on the deadly pedestrian accident that happened at Broadway and 85th Street in Los Angeles.
