Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle Near Imperial Highway Friday
Los Angeles, CA (January 14, 2022) – One person died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Interstate 405 Friday morning.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a woman was seen walking near the offramp on southbound I-405, also known as San Diego Freeway.
At approximately 7:13 a.m., an oncoming blue vehicle failed to notice and struck the female party. The catastrophic incident took place near the Imperial Highway exit.

Emergency crews responded to the crash site and found the victim lying on the ground. Despite life-saving measures, the woman sadly succumbed to her injuries and died. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate liability in the deadly pedestrian accident on Interstate 405 in Los Angeles.
