1 Killed, 3 Injured in Los Angeles Car Crash on Northbound 110 Freeway Near USC
LOS ANGELES, CA (July 12, 2021) – A car crash killed one person and injured several others on the 110 Freeway in Los Angeles.
According to the CBS Los Angeles and My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Monday night. Officers reported the wreck at around 9:20 p.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said multiple vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed on the northbound 110 Freeway, near the University of Southern California (USC).
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then pronounced one individual dead at the scene. A total of three people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
One patient suffered serious injuries while the other two sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Medical personnel rushed them to a hospital for treatment.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, officials forced the northbound lanes of the 110 Freeway to shut down for hours following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Los Angeles crash is still under investigation.
