1 Killed, 2 Critically Injured in Los Angeles Crash on 66th Street
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 5, 2021) – A car crash killed one person and critically injured two others on 66th Street in the Florence area of Los Angeles.
According to the CBS Los Angeles and My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Friday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 7:55 p.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the Florence neighborhood. They crashed at 1098 East 66th Street near Central Avenue.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then extricated a trapped occupant from the wreckage. They soon pronounced one victim dead at the scene.
Two other people sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then rushed them to a hospital and listed them in critical condition.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of 66th Street to shut down for hours following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Los Angeles crash is still under investigation.
