At Least 1 Killed in Fiery Collision Near 10 Freeway
Los Angeles, CA (May 5, 2022) – One person died following a car accident that occurred on Maple Avenue Tuesday, the CBS News reported.
On May 3, Tuesday, two vehicles collided in the area near 10 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles. The make and model of the automobiles involved in the wreck remained unknown.
The article published online mentioned one vehicle veered off the roadway following the crash. Officials said the car came to a rest after slamming into a utility pole, then catching fire.
Deadly Car Accident on Maple Avenue in Los Angeles
Shortly after 3:35 p.m., firefighters arrived at the 1629 block of Maple Avenue. Rescue teams worked extensively to extinguish the flames. After firefighters put out the fire, they found a lifeless person inside the vehicle. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the other motorist involved in the unfortunate event.
Detectives continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the deadly accident on Maple Avenue in Los Angeles.
