1 Killed, 3 Injured in Los Angeles Crash on South Vermont Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 13, 2021) – A car crash killed one person and injured several others on Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident occurred on Thursday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:30 a.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed in the 5300 block of South Vermont Avenue.
Multi-Car Crash Near Vermont Square and South L.A.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near the Vermont Square and South Los Angeles areas. One individual died as a result of the collision.
A total of three other people ended up injured following the incident. Medical personnel then took them to local hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, officials forced the roadway to shut down for a time following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Los Angeles crash is still under investigation.
