1 Killed, 1 Injured in Collision at Broadway and Bernard Street
Los Angeles, CA (July 13, 2022) – One person died, and another suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred in the area of Broadway and Bernard Street.
According to ABC News, an SUV veered off the roadway for an unknown reason and crashed into a bus bench in Chinatown neighborhood. Earlier reports indicated the incident took place shortly after 4:20 p.m.

Emergency crews later arrived at the crash site and found the bench crunched between the vehicle and a fence. Responding medical personnel attended to all parties involved in the collision. After the evaluation, officers sadly pronounced one person dead. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Authorities added another person sustained injuries, and was rushed to the hospital for further treatment.
