Woman, 60, Killed in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Crash on Glenoaks Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 2, 2021) – A pedestrian was killed after a hit-and-run crash along Glenoaks Boulevard in Los Angeles.
A press release by the Los Angeles Police Department said the tragic accident occurred last week on Friday evening. Officers reported the collision at around 7:40 p.m.
The incident happened on February 26 when a female pedestrian was crossing eastbound on Glenoaks Boulevard, north of Vinedale Avenue.
A 2001 Toyota Camry going north then struck the 60-year-old woman. She landed in the roadway, where two more vehicles ran her over.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded and found the victim left lying on the ground as a result of the collision. They pronounced her dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased woman has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, the driver of the Toyota stopped after hitting the pedestrian and stayed at the site.
Police affirmed that other two motorists did not render aid to the victim and soon fled the area. Officials described the cars involved as dark colored SUVs.
Officers forced Glenoaks Boulevard to close for a time following the hit-and-run crash. Authorities are still searching for the suspects.
