Los Angeles, CA (October 8, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspect hit-and-run crash that occurred in the area of Highway 101 and Santa Monica Boulevard.

Initial records indicated a gray Mercedes car collided with another vehicle at the busy Los Angeles intersection. At this time, the make and model of the second car involved in the accident remained unknown.

CHP logged the incident around 1:40 p.m.

When rescue teams arrived at the site, they found the airbags deployed in the disabled Merced. Paramedics at the scene immediately rendered aid to the victims. Our sources confirmed at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the collision. Authorities continue to withhold the name of the injured party, and the extent of their trauma.

Officials mentioned the other driver fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
