1 Severely Injured in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Crash on Myers Street
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 19, 2020) – An alleged hit-and-run crash severely injured one victim along Myers Street in Los Angeles.
According to My News LA, the accident occurred on Wednesday near the Boyle Heights neighborhood. Officers reported the wreck on November 18 at about 12:02 a.m.
The incident happened when a green 1999 Honda Civic was involved in a speed contest in the 100 block of North Myers Street.
Police said the Honda then slammed into a gray 2006 Mercedes-Benz making a left turn at the time. The driver of the Civic suffered severe injuries as a result of the collision.
2 People Flees Scene After Car Collision Near Boyle Heights
Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the site and then rushed the motorist to the hospital for treatment.
The name of the wounded patient and their condition remained undisclosed. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the two occupants of the Mercedes-Benz abandoned their car following the wreck.
Both the female driver and passenger of the Mercedes got into a black Dodge Charger which approached the scene after the incident. Authorities are still looking for the hit-and-run suspects.
