Injury Car Accident on Santa Monica Freeway Tuesday
Los Angeles, CA (November 11, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run collision that occurred on Interstate 10, also known as Santa Monica Freeway.
On November 9, Tuesday, a traffic crash took place in the eastbound side of the Santa Monica (101) Freeway. The accident happened near the intersection at Maple Avenue in Central Los Angeles.

Shortly after 11:15 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the site. First responders found a gray Honda sedan facing the wrong direction on the freeway. Officials believed the Honda collided with another vehicle that fled the scene.
Responding paramedics attended to all possible victims in the crash. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the incident. The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
At this time, detectives continue to work to determine the identity and location of the hit-and-run suspect. Further investigation on the car crash on Interstate 10 in Los Angeles is ongoing.
