At Least 1 Hurt in Collision Near Broadway Onramp Thursday
Los Angeles, CA (January 23, 2022) – A suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on Interstate 5, also known as Golden State Freeway, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Our sources indicated at least two vehicles collided in the southbound side of I-5. The car accident took place near Broadway onramp in Central Los Angeles.
CHP logged the case on January 20 around 3:10 p.m.
The force from the impact caused the victim vehicle to careen towards right-hand shoulder of the highway. When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the driver of the disabled car crying for help. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to the victim. After the evaluation, officials confirmed the motorist sustained injuries as a result of the wreck.

Meanwhile, authorities mentioned the other driver fled the scene following the collision. Detectives continue to work at this time to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
