At Least 1 Hurt in Collision Near Stadium Way Saturday
Los Angeles, CA (February 10, 2022) – A suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred on Interstate 5 on February 5, Saturday.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a white pickup truck collided with another vehicles in the southbound side of the freeway. Due to the force from the impact, the white pickup truck careened towards the right shoulder of the highway. The vehicle continued driving down the embankment in the area near Stadium Way offramp.
Shortly after 1:14 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. After the assessment, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Preliminary investigation revealed the other motorist involved in the crash fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Detectives continue to work at this time to determine several unclear factors surrounding the car crash on Interstate 5 in Los Angeles. Further investigation on the case is underway.
