Hit-and-run in Los Angeles Downs Motorcyclist at Imperial Highway and Western Avenue
LOS ANGELES, California (May 8, 2016) – At least one person sustained injuries following a hit and run crash at West Imperial Highway and South Western Avenue Sunday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident happened at around 4:46 p.m.
Preliminary reports stated that officers responded to an emergency requesting for help at the intersection.
Upon arrival at the scene, they have located a motorcyclist laying down on the roadway. It was not clear whether the rider was hurt but at least one suffered in wounds, as noted in the incident description by the CHP team.
The victim was transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment of unspecified severity of trauma.
The wreck involved a 3-wheeler truck and an SUV, as mentioned in the CHP log. One from the involved automobiles sped from the scene, leading officers to raise a hit and run call.
No immediate information was provided on the felon and the suspect’s vehicle.
