At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on Santa Monica Freeway Saturday
Los Angeles, CA (November 13, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on Interstate 10, also known sa Santa Monica Freeway, Saturday morning.
The California Highway Patrol group a vehicle struck an individual on the freeway ramp near 18th Street in Centra Los Angeles. CHP logged the incident at about 10:50 a.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found a white Subaru stopped on the freeway. The car appeared to have hit a person. Responding paramedics immediately attended to the victim. After the evaluation, officials confirmed the pedestrian sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The identity of the injured party remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Initial records mentioned the driver of the Subaru fled the scene before police arrived. Given that, detectives handling the case continue to work to determine the name and location of the hit-and-run suspect.
