Pedestrian Hit by 2 Drivers, 1 Flees Scene
The collision was reported at 12:10 a.m. at the intersection of Western Avenue and Cambridge Street.
As per the article, Los Angeles Police Department’s West Traffic Division said a man was struck while crossing the street when he was initially struck by a vehicle headed south on Western Avenue.
He was then hit by a second car, 2002 silver Toyota, which was going north at the time.
Police affirmed that the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been yet released pending notification of family.
Meanwhile, NBC Los Angeles mentioned that the first driver left while and the motorist in the Toyota stopped and remained in the area.
Authorities are still investigating and looking for the other party involved.
