
Rider Injured in Hit-and-Run Collision at Atlantic and Via Corona
Los Angeles, CA (February 27, 2023) – A motorcyclist suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Atlantic Boulevard and Via Corona Street.
Auto vs. Motorcycle Accident in Los Angeles
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a man riding a motorbike was struck by a vehicle at the intersection in East Los Angeles. CHP logged the case on February 23, Thursday.
Emergency crews responded to the crash site shortly after 8:25 p.m. When paramedics arrived, they immediately attended to the motorcyclist found waiting for aid at the nearby gas station. The name of the victim, and the extent of their injuries have not been discussed thus far.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned the other driver fled the scene after hitting the motorcyclist. Investigators believed the hit-and-run suspect was driving a white Chevrolet Silverado. Given that, detectives continue to gather information to identify and locate the suspect in the injury collision that happened at Atlantic Boulevard and Via Corona Street.
