Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on 101 North
LOCATION: Los Angeles
DATE OF COLLISION: Monday, July 23rd
July 24, 2018- According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle accident occurred at the last night on the northbound 101 freeway at or near Spring Street.
At roughly 6:33 p.m., CHP officials responded to a collision between a motorcyclist and a red Mini Cooper.
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel were quickly notified as were paramedics to provide assistance to the injured rider.

The motorcyclist who was not identified by name was moderately injured and transported to USC Medical Center in unknown condition.
It did not appear that the driver of the Mini Cooper sustained any injuries.
Meanwhile, both the sedan and the motorcycle were towed from the scene as the cause of the accident itself was not mentioned in the dispatch report.
CHP authorities were on scene for at least an hour investigating resulting in temporary traffic delays.

California Highway Patrol will carry out a forensic examination of both the vehicle and the motorcycle, as well as photos that were taken of the scene, will help investigators determine which party ultimately caused the accident.
