2 Deputies Badly Hurt in Collision at 3rd Street and Mednik Avenue Wednesday
Los Angeles, CA (November 10, 2021) – Two officers from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of 3rd Street and Mednik Avenue.
According to My News LA, the deputy driving the patrol SUV lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason. As a result, the car left the roadway and slammed head-on into a pole on the corner of the 3rd and Mednik intersection.
The crash took place around 10 a.m. in East Los Angeles.

When medical personnel arrived at the site, they found two deputies with injuries. The article published online mentioned one officer sustained head injuries; while the other suffered a possible broken leg.
