Pedestrian Hit and Critically Injured by LAFD Ambulance
LOS ANGELES (September 27, 2018) – A pedestrian was critically injured after a traffic accident in the area of Fifth Street and Broadway last week Friday, according to KTLA.
The collision took place on September 21 at around 4 p.m.
As per the article, police said for an unknown reason a pedestrian was struck by a Los Angeles Fire Department ambulance at the intersection of 5th Street and Broadway.
The victim was then taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for critical injuries. The name and condition of the patient at this time remained unknown.
Meanwhile, officials did not indicate whether the ambulance was transporting anyone at the time of the incident.
Authorities are still gathering more information and evidence to determine the cause of the collision.
