Pedestrian in Wheelchair Struck by Vehicle
LOS ANGELES(October 24, 2018)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a pedestrian accident versus vehicle occurred this afternoon at the intersection of Gage and Compton avenues.
Authorities responded to a phone call notifying them of the collision which involved a person in a wheelchair and a vehicle.
The Fire Department was quickly made known of the collision as they hastily arrived along with paramedics who assessed the victim on scene.
Following assessment, the unidentified victim was eventually transported via ambulance to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
No details have been provided in regards to the circumstances of the accident itself and what exactly caused it as CHP officials remain on scene as of 1:30 p.m. gathering necessary facts and information to help determine the liable party.
