2 People Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash Near Pico Boulevard Saturday
Los Angeles, CA (February 27, 2021) – Two pedestrians suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run accident on Interstate 405, also known as San Diego Freeway, Saturday morning.
According to My News LA, a blue or green Toyota Prius struck two individuals in the northbound side of I-405. The collision took place at Pico Boulevard.
Emergency teams arrived at the crash site shortly after 8:50 a.m.
Pedestrians Hospitalized After Accident in West Los Angeles, February 27
The news article confirmed the two pedestrians sustained injuries as a result of the collision. Because of the extent of their trauma, paramedics rushed the victims to area hospitals for treatment. The names of the patients remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, officials said the Toyota Prius continued driving following the incident. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the pedestrian accident on 405 Freeway in West Los Angeles.
