Male Adult Victim in Grave Condition
LOS ANGELES, California (August 22, 2016) – A hit-and-run collision left a pedestrian critically injured in the area of West 48th Street and South Vermont Avenue early Sunday morning, according to onscenevideo.tv.
The accident was reported shortly before 2:30 a.m. in the Vermont Square neighborhood.
As per the onscenevideo.tv, Los Angeles Police Department said a man was found down with critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle in the crosswalk. The victim was immediately taken to a local trauma center where he was listed in grave condition.
His name has not been yet released.
Meanwhile, the driver involved did not stop to render aid and took off the scene. Police described the suspect car as a white Dodge Challenger.
