Pedestrian Injured in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run at 68th Street and Broadway
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 10, 2022) – A pedestrian was injured after a hit-and-run crash at 68th Street and Broadway in Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the incident took place on Monday night. Officers reported the accident at about 9:49 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Los Angeles. The driver hit the person at the intersection of West 68th Street and South Broadway.
Driver Hits Victim, Flees Scene
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near South Grand Avenue. They found the victim hurt as a result of the collision
Medical personnel provided treatment to the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid and then fled the area. Officers forced the corner of 68th Street and Broadway to close following the collision.
The cause of the Los Angeles hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
