Pedestrian Injured in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run at Anderson and 7th Streets
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 13, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured a pedestrian at Anderson Street and 7th Street in Los Angeles.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Saturday morning. According to their dispatch, officers reported the collision at about 7:13 a.m.
The incident happened when a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason. The driver hit the person at the intersection of South Anderson and East 7th streets in Los Angeles.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the 5 Freeway. They found the victim left wounded as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided aid to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the accident. The name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to help the victim and fled the area. Officers forced the intersection of Anderson and 7th streets to close following the collision.
The cause of the Los Angeles hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
