Pedestrian Injured in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run at Mona Boulevard and 115th Place
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 10, 2021) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash at Mona Boulevard and 115th Place in Los Angeles.
A California Highway Patrol dispatch said the incident took place on Wednesday night. According to their report, the accident happened shortly after 8:30 p.m.
CHP determined that a vehicle struck the pedestrian in Los Angeles. The driver hit the person for an unknown reason at Mona Boulevard and East 115th Place.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Imperial Highway. They found the victim who sustained unspecified injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the St. Francis Medical Center for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to help the victim and fled the area. Officers forced the intersection of Mona Boulevard and 115th Place to close following the collision.
The cause of the Los Angeles hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
