Pedestrian Injured in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Crash on 25th Street

LOS ANGELES, CA (January 28, 2022) – A pedestrian was injured after a hit-and-run crash on 25th Street in Los Angeles.

A California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place on Friday night. Officers reported the collision at about 8:16 p.m.

The incident happened when a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason. The driver hit the person at 1825 West 25th Street in the city of Los Angeles.

Victim Hit by Vehicle

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene between Congress and La Salle avenues. They found the victim who ended up hurt as a result of the collision

Medical personnel then provided aid to the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to help the victim and fled the area. Officers forced a stretch of 25th Street to shut down following the collision.

The cause of the Los Angeles hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
