Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run at Venice and Sepulveda Boulevards
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 27, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash seriously injured a pedestrian at Venice Boulevard and Sepulveda Boulevard in Los Angeles.
According to a press release by the Los Angeles Police Department, the accident took place on May 15. Officers reported the collision at about 1:25 a.m.
The incident began when a vehicle was going west on Venice Boulevard, approaching Sepulveda Boulevard, in Los Angeles.
At the same time, the pedestrian was walking on southbound Sepulveda. Police said for an unknown reason, the driver involved hit the victim in a marked crosswalk.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the person left suffering from serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid to the pedestrian and then fled the area. Officials described the car involved as a white Mercedes.
Authorities are still searching for the suspect. They forced the intersection of Venice and Sepulveda boulevards to shut down following the Los Angeles hit-and-run crash.
