LOS ANGELES, California (July 7, 2016) — A pedestrian was struck by a car Thursday afternoon at the intersection of South Alameda Street and East Florence Avenue, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 12:48 p.m. this afternoon. The driver of a white Buick Verano struck the pedestrian at the intersection and remained at the scene. Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and quickly transported the injured person to a local hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
The crash is under investigation to determine liability.
