2 Hurt After Car Crash at 3rd Street and Broadway Avenue
LOS ANGELES, Ca (May 14, 2019) – A traffic collision resulted in injuries Saturday evening in the area of 3rd Street and Broadway Avenue.
According to ABC News, two people were riding on a motorized scooter at the downtown Los Angeles intersection. For reasons still unknown, the operator of the scooter drove into the crossing against a red light.
A passing vehicle then struck the scooter.

Shortly after 8:30 p.m., emergency teams responded to the scene and found the two people on the scooter hurt. Medics rushed both parties to local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Authorities mentioned the car involved had a rideshare company sticker in its windshield but it remained unclear if the driver was on duty at the time of the accident.
Additional details on the incident remained undisclosed. Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
