Man Injured in Skateboard Hit-and-Run in Vermont Slauson
LOS ANGELES- According to Fox 11 News, a skateboarder was struck and injured by a hit-and-run driver Tuesday morning in the Vermont Slauson community area at 1300 block of 54th Street.
The collision was reported at precisely 12:01 a.m. when a man on a skateboard was hit as he crossed the street by a motorist.
Per Fox News, the skateboarder, an unidentified male, sustained very serious injuries and was transported to a hospital where he remained in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle failed to stop and proceeded to flee the scene leaving the victim left behind.
No details or information has been released at this time regarding the hit-and-run motorist has police officials do not have any leads on the suspect at this time.
