1 Trapped in Big Rig After Crash on I-405 Freeway Thursday
Los Angeles, CA (October 29, 2020) – A traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 405, also known as Nathan Shapell Memorial Highway, resulted in injuries Thursday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, two semi trucks collided in the northbound lanes of I-405 at National Boulevard. The crash took place near Rancho Park.

First responders found the driver of the tanker truck trapped in the wreck. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they immediately worked to pull out the victim. Following a safe extrication, an ambulance rushed the individual to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. For this reason, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work to determine exactly how and why the truck accident on 405 Freeway in Los Angeles happened.
