Major Injury Crash in Los Banos on State Route Highway 152
LOS BANOS, Calif. (Sept. 28, 2022) — Two people were injured Wednesday morning in a head-on collision on state Route Highway 152 at Volta Road in the Los Banos area.
The two-vehicle crash occurred on State Route 152 about 9:45 a.m. on Sept. 28th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a white Jeep Liberty and a black Toyota Tundra pickup truck collided due to unknown circumstances. Both vehicles suffered major front-end damage in the collision.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded and located an adult who was breathing, but “fairly unconscious,” the CHP report said. Also, a child had complaints of stomach pain and a laceration on their stomach. Both people were transported to a hospital for further care. Also, tow trucks came to remove the damaged vehicles.
Authorities are conducting an investigation into liability for the head-on Los Banos crash.
