LOS GATOS, California (October 11, 2016) — Dominique Gouley, 23, was hospitalized with injuries after a hit-and-run driver struck a car she was riding in on the northbound State Route Highway 17, a California Highway Patrol report said.

The crash took place about 6:11 a.m. this morning. The suspect was driving a small 2-door black Honda Civic or similar vehicle at a high rate of speed when it crashed into the white pickup truck and the Mini Cooper and sped off.

Paramedics responded and transported Gouley, who was a passenger in the Mini Cooper, to a local hospital for treatment. She was complaining of neck and chest pain after the crash.
