Major Injury Collision on Santa Cruz Highway Sunday
Los Gatos, CA (May 30, 2021) – A motorcycle rider suffered injuries following a traffic accident on State Route 17, also known as Santa Cruz Highway, Sunday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a motorcyclist collided with a silver Honda Civic in the northbound side of the highway. The crash happened at about 3:35 p.m.
Responding emergency crews found the Honda disabled near the center divider. Meanwhile, the motorbike came to a rest leaning against the wall.

Medical personnel checked the condition the motorcyclist and other parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed the rider sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. The name of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the motorcycle accident in Los Gatos.
