LOS GATOS, California (July 14, 2016) – One was hospitalized after a traffic collision on southbound Highway 17 near Laurel Road Thursday afternoon, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The crash involving a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, a white Mitsubishi Eclipse and possibly a third vehicle took place about 4:50 p.m.
As per the report log, a pregnant woman was involved in the accident and required an ambulance for evaluation. Paramedics then responded to the scene and transported at least one person to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
The condition and name of the patient remained unknown.
Meanwhile, CHP said the Jeep sustained major front-end damage following the incident.
Authorities will continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
