3 Injured in Los Olivos Crash at Highway 154 and Foxen Canyon Road
LOS OLIVOS, CA (July 14, 2022) – Several were injured after a car crash at Highway 154 and Foxen Canyon Road in Los Olivos.
According to the Noozhawk News and KSBY News, the accident took place on Thursday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:40 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said a pickup and a sedan collided for an unknown reason in Los Olivos. The two crashed on Highway 154 at Foxen Canyon Road.
The sedan then caught fire due to the impact of the collision.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found a total of three people who ended up hurt as a result of the incident.
One of them, a 60-year-old man from the burning car, sustained major injuries following the wreck. A helicopter rushed him to the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment.
Medical personnel provided aid to two other patients who survived with minor injuries. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Highway 154 and Foxen Canyon to shut down for an hour following the wreck. The cause of the Los Olivos crash is still under investigation.
