4 Injured in Los Olivos Crash on Foxen Canyon Road
LOS OLIVOS, CA (November 20, 2022) – Several were injured after a car crash on Foxen Canyon Road in Los Olivos.
According to an article published by the KSBY News, the accident took place on Sunday evening. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 7 p.m.
The Santa Barbara County Fire said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Los Olivos. The cars crashed in the 3000 block of Foxen Canyon Road.
2 Cars Collide
Two female occupants ended up trapped inside a car as a result of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and freed them from the wreckage.
The rescued individuals sustained major injuries and two male parties survived the incident with minor injuries. An air ambulance flew one patient to the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment.
A ground ambulance rushed the other two for further aid. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Foxen Canyon Road to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Los Olivos crash is still under investigation.
