Bicyclist Injured in Los Osos Hit-and-Run on Binscarth Near Maple and Nancy
LOS OSOS (August 6, 2020) – A bicyclist was hospitalized after an alleged hit-and-run collision along Binscarth Road on Thursday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident apparently took place at approximately 4 p.m.
Their report log indicated that a vehicle struck a male bicycle rider on Binscarth Road near Maple Avenue and Nancy Avenue.

CHP said the rider was left in the roadway and suffering from unspecified injuries as a result of the crash. He was transported to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The name and condition of the wounded victim at this time were not immediately available. Meanwhile, officials affirmed that the driver involved did not stop to render aid to the cyclist and fled the scene.
Meanwhile, the mother of the patient reported the incident to CHP at around 6:50 p.m. Authorities are still gathering more information and evidence to locate the motorist.
