Pedestrian Injured in Hit-and-Run at Los Osos Valley Road and Palisades Avenue
LOS OSOS, CA (June 21, 2021) – A pedestrian was badly injured after a hit-and-run crash at Los Osos Valley Road and Palisades Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place late Monday night. Officers reported the incident at about 10:16 p.m.
According to CHP, a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Los Osos. The driver hit the person at the intersection of Los Osos Valley Road and Palisades Avenue.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the community park. They found the victim left suffering from moderate injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that that the motorist did not stop to render aid to the pedestrian and fled the area. They are still searching for the suspect.
Officers forced the area of Los Osos Valley and Palisades to close following the collision. The hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
