2 Injured in Lost Hills Crash on 5 Freeway at Twisselman Road
LOST HILLS (September 20, 2019) – Two were airlifted after a traffic collision along the 5 Freeway on Friday afternoon.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the multi-vehicle accident was reported at approximately 5:05 p.m.
The report log said about five to six cars collided for an unknown reason on the southbound 5 Freeway at Twisselman Road. One vehicle went off the roadway as a result of the crash.

Two of the cars involved were described as a Range Rover and a Mercedes. The Range Rover sustained moderate rear-end damage while the Mercedes went over the embankment upon impact.
Fire department officials responded to the scene and attended to two people who were injured following the wreck. At least one of the patients was confirmed to have suffered major injuries in the collision.
The two victims were then flown to the hospital for treatment. Their names and condition at this time were not immediately available,
Meanwhile, authorities are still gathering more information and evidence to determine the cause of the incident.
