1 Killed in Lost Hills Crash on Interstate 5 Near Twisselman Road
LOST HILLS, CA (March 7, 2023) – A crash killed at least one person on the Interstate 5 near Twisselman Road in Lost Hills.
According to an article published by the Kern Golden Empire, the tragic accident took place on Tuesday evening. Officers reported the wreck on March 7 at about 7:35 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said a big rig and a sedan collided for an unknown reason in Lost Hills. The two crashed on the northbound Interstate 5 near Twisselman Road.
Big Rig and Car Collide
CHP described the car involved as a Volkswagen Jetta. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Highway 46.
Medical personnel confirmed that one individual died as a result of the collision. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the northbound lanes of the Interstate 5 to shut down near Twisselman following the wreck. The cause of the Lost Hills crash is still under investigation.
