Suspect, 65, Jailed After Injury Collision at Lakeville Street and Caulfield Lane Friday
Petaluma, CA (October 8, 2021) – Police arrested 65-year-old Louis Denney following a car crash that occurred in the area of Lakeville Street and Caulfield Lane.
According to Patch News, Denney, a transient, was driving a vehicle in the streets of Petaluma Friday. As Louis Denney drove through the intersection of Lakeville and Caulfield, he reportedly crashed into the back of two vehicles.
The description of the automobiles involved in the collision remained undisclosed.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found at least one person with injuries. The victim was an occupant in one of the rear-ended cars.

Responding officers checked the blood-alcohol content of Louis Denney. Results showed the man was intoxicated, almost four times the legal limit. Given that, police arrested Louis Denney and booked him booked into Sonoma County jail on suspicion of DUI.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
