1 Injured in Lower Lake Crash at Highway 29 and Main Street
LOWER LAKE, CA (June 22, 2021) – Two were injured after a crash at Highway 29 and Main Street in Lower Lake.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:56 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Lower Lake. The two crashed at the intersection of Highway 29 and Main Street.
2 Cars Collide in Lower Lake
The incident log described the cars as a BMW and a Toyota Tacoma which went off the road upon impact. One of the vehicles involved obtained major damage following the collision.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene and found two people hurt as a result of the wreck. One of them suffered moderate injuries while the other sustained minor wounds.
Medical personnel then took at least one patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Highway 29 and Main Street to shut down following the crash. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Lower Lake collision.
