1 Seriously Injured in Lower Lake Head-On Crash on Highway 29
LOWER LAKE, CA (April 3, 2021) – A head-on crash seriously injured at least one person along Highway 29 in Lower Lake.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 4:21 p.m.
According to their report, two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason. They crashed on Highway 29 near C Street in Lower Lake.
Car Collision Near C Street and Spruce Grove Road
CHP described the cars involved as a silver Mercedes sedan and a black Dodge Charger. Both sustained major front-end damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Spruce Grove Road. They found one individual who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to the Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa for treatment. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, officials forced Highway 29 to shut down for more than two hours following the Lower Lake crash. Authorities are still determining the cause of the wreck.
