1 Seriously Injured in Lucerne Crash at Highway 20 and Bruner Drive
LAKE COUNTY, CA (October 12, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Highway 20 and Bruner Drive in Lucerne.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the wreck took place on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the accident at about 2:10 p.m.
According to CHP, two sedans collided for an unknown reason in Lucerne. The cars crashed at the intersection of Highway 20 and Bruner Drive.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log added that both vehicles obtained moderate to major damage upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Pepperwood Grove.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to the Sutter Lakeside Hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Highway 20 and Bruner Drive to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Lucerne crash is still under investigation.
