Woman Injured in Lucerne Valley Crash on Highway 18 Near Buena Vista Road
LUCERNE VALLEY, CA (June 22, 2021) – One was airlifted after a car crash on Highway 18 in Lucerne Valley.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the accident took place on Tuesday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:17 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Lucerne Valley. They crashed on Highway 18 near Buena Vista Road.
Multiple Vehicles Collide on State Route 18
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found a female occupant wounded and having trouble breathing inside the wreckage.
An air ambulance then took the woman to an out-of-area trauma center for treatment of unspecified injuries. Officials did not release her name and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the eastbound and westbound lanes of Highway 18 to shut down following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Lucerne Valley crash.
