LUCERNE VALLEY, California (March 28, 2016) — As many as 10 vehicles including two big rig trucks collided Monday morning on Barstow Road Highway 247 during a low-visibility dust storm near Rabbit Springs Road, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash was reported about 3:21 p.m. between multiple vehicles including a white Chrysler van, a dark blue Nissan Altima, two trucks and other motorists. One of the big rigs appears to have crashed into the back of the van. Paramedics responded to help at least one woman who complained of chest pain and hit her head.
Police are helping those at the scene and will issue a report with their findings of liability.
