Man, 59, Killed in Rear-End Crash on I-40 Freeway Friday
Ludlow, CA (January 23, 2021) – A 59-year-old man died following a traffic collision on Interstate 40 Freeway Friday afternoon.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department reported a passenger vehicle crashed into the rear of a semi-trailer. Per accident dispatch, the tragic incident took place east of Ludlow.
First responders found the car rolled over.

Medical personnel arrived at the scene shortly after 1:05 p.m. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the male driver but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the operator of the truck involved.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the fatal car accident in Ludlow happened.
