Luis Landa and Alejandro Lozano, Both 36, Badly Injured in Lancaster Car Crash
LANCASTER, CA (October 20, 2020) – A fatal car crash along Avenue J badly injured Luis Contreras Landa and Alejandro Lozano in Lancaster early Tuesday.
According to an article published by The Antelope Valley Times, the tragic accident occurred at around 12:20 a.m. east of 140th Street East.
The incident began when Luis Contreras Landa was driving 2003 GMC Sierra 2500 with Alejandro Lozano as his passenger. Their pickup was pulling a 2020 PJ Trailer eastbound on Avenue J.
At the time, a 2014 Toyota Prius was traveling west. The California Highway Patrol said the Toyota crossed into the opposing traffic lane for an unknown reason.

In the process, the Prius collided head-on with the GMC truck. The impact then caused the Toyota to catch fire which spread to the pickup.
CHP added that Landa and Lozano, both 36 years old, suffered moderate injuries as a result of the collision. Paramedics transported the Bakersfield men to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment.
Medical personnel also rushed the 21-year-old Los Angeles man operating the Prius to the same hospital. However, he later died.
